Interactive Assessments

Interactive Assessments rate the MFI institutional performance. They target younger and emerging institutions that wish to identify their strengths and weaknesses in order to obtain technical assistance or to attract donor funding. The evaluation and rating following the same methodology than the GIRAFE Ratings. The report, of about ten pages, is focused on the areas of improvement and underlines the strengths and weaknesses of the institution.

In Sub-Saharan Africa (except in Uganda), in Asia, in Eastern Europe and NIS, and in the MENA region, the Rating Fund offers a partial co-financing to MFIs for Interactive Assessments services up to 50% and a maximum of 2500 USD of the mission cost. Planet Rating is approved by this fund. The evaluation mission of your institution is therefore eligible for this co-financing. To learn more about it, please visit the website of the Rating Fund.
In Uganda, Planet Rating is an approved rating and evaluation provider for the Uganda Rating Fund that co-finances Interactive Assessments of small unregulated credit and savings institutions.
